It's been a while . . .

So, it has been a while since I have had the time to post anything on here. The past couple weeks have been a bit of a blur. I FINALLY finished up all of my midterms last Thursday night. Now, there a just a few small assignments, finishing up labs, etc. before the big rush of finals in December. Studying for finals will begin very soon - hopefully even this week if possible. I really have to do very well on some of my finals - so I may as well get a head start on things so that I don't get as stressed out when the actual time comes.

But, that is enough talking about school. Truth be told, I'm kind of sick - actually, quite sick - of always having to think about school. It definitely monopolizes my time, my thoughts, my worries, etc. So, right now, I am going to do myself a huge favour and not think about it for the time being.

Mom and Dad came out for a visit last weekend. It was SO good to spend the weekend with them, catch up, and spend some quality time together. I was able to relax the whole weekend (apart from having to write a paper) - so we spent the time around the area here in Waterloo, so they could catch a glimpse into my new life, and we managed to squeeze in quite a bit of shopping as well! It was sad to see them go, but also more bearable than the last goodbye, because this time, the things here are familiar to me, and I know that in one month, I will be heading home for Christmas.

This past weekend was spent in Hamilton with my aunt and uncle. Once again, it was a very relaxing weekend. I got to go to Steve Bell on Saturday night, which was great. I always love seeing him - I could sit and listen to him play his guitar for hours. I was so glad that I had the opportunity to go to his concert. Tomorrow night, I am going to go to the new Harry Potter movie with several people from my house here. I am very excited to see it - everybody says that it is great!

We had our first snow here last week! I was so excited - it made me very happy! I can't wait until it comes and stays, instead of just melting the next day!

So, life is busy - but good. I am so very excited about coming home at Christmas - I am already counting down the days! A good two weeks at home with my family and friends will be exactly what I need after a long, and somewhat stressful semester, and hopefully I will come back in January ready to face all the new challenges.

Drop me a line - let me know how you are doing. I always love to hear from home. Miss you all lots!
