Looking back at 2005

It's hard to believe that it is already 2006! I know that this gets said far too often, but time really does fly by! For me, two things come to mind when thinking about 2005: Estonia and Waterloo.

For the first half of the year, Estonia occupied much of my time and thoughts, as I prepared for the six weeks that I would spend there during the summer. The time that I did spend there was wonderful, and went by far too fast. I met so many amazing people - my readers, the missionaries, the church people. I enjoyed so much just being able to give of myself to the people that I met. I have so many fond memories of my time there - and would love to go back, if I am ever given the chance to do so.

Waterloo has occupied up much of the last part of the year for me! My move from Saskatchewan to Ontario was (and continues to be) a huge change in my life. Moving away from my family and friends was hard, but I have adjusted well, and am enjoying what I am doing here. School is going good, and I have met so many wonderful people. Of course, I loved the chance to be at home at Christmas though!

So, what does 2006 hold for me? Right now, I'm not really sure! I know that I will finish my first year of Optometry school, go home for May and June to work, and then go back to Zambia for July and August. I am so excited to be able to go back to Zambia! I feel so blessed to be able to go back to a place that I fell so in love with in 2003. I am excited to go back with my whole family, and close friends, and to be used there again, in whatever way God wants to use us.

To end off with, I share with you a few pictures from my 2005.
