One done . . .
I finished my first practical of the week this morning. And well, I guess that it was okay. Actually, it was pretty good, but it definitely could have gone better. I won't go into details about how it could have gone better, since it won't make any sense to most of you, but I'm just not entirely happy with how it went. Basically, I got a little flustered, and because of that, made a stupid mistake. But, my lab instructor seemed to be pretty understanding about it all. There is a possibility that I might have to redo part of it next week, depending on what the instructors decide. And while I would rather not have to do that, I really wouldn't mind. For one, it gives me another chance to learn and practice, and gain feedback. And it also keeps me humble. Messing up a little bit like that helps me remember that I'm not perfect (not that I ever thought that I was), and that I still have a lot of learning and practicing to go. I guess we will see what happens in the next couple days. Now, I move on to focusing on my Friday practical, but first I need to relax for a little bit. Practicals take a lot of energy out of you - I kind of feel like I have just run a marathon or something. I'm exhausted! Maybe a little nap is in order right now. :)
