I sure hope that it goes out like a lamb, because it most definitely came in like a lion today. Yesterday was beautiful - the sun was shining, and snow was melting. Today was a totally different story. It wasn't bad when I left the house at 8 this morning - a little cold, and a little windy. But by the time I checked outside again at lunch time, it was crazy. Extremely windy, tons of snow, ice pellets. It wasn't pleasant. I had to wait over 35 minutes for the bus (during which time at least 3 buses should have come), and then it was a good 25 minute ride home. They shut the university down at 3:30 - unfortunately, my day was already over by that time. My fingers are crossed for tomorrow. It looks promising though - as it's supposed to turn into freezing rain overnight.
The best part of the day: a 2-hour nap after getting home. My body needed that SO bad, and I feel so much better now.

Hey, Jilly,
Lion day for March 1st in Saskatchewan too! More snow and, I say, enough already! I don't think school for me will be cancelled but maybe it will be for you! That would be a bonus long weekend!
I tried to call tonight (10:00 our time) but no answer. We will talk to you this weekend. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I always enjoy your blog.
Love, mom xoxo
