Lately.

Here's a brief glimpse into what I've been doing lately:

LISTENING: Mostly I have my iPod on shuffle, and just listen to whatever comes up next. There's a few specifics that I've been enjoying in recent days though:
*Coldplay - I never tire of these guys. All three of their albums are just SO good.
*means - I picked up the album on the 6th, and have enjoyed listening to it since then.
*Diana Pops - Probably unknown to most of you - she's on with Signpost Music (Steve Bell's label). Her voice is just SO beautiful.
*Nickel Creek - Harm introduced me to these guys a while back - but I've just really gotten into them recently. Their older stuff is my favourite.

WATCHING:
*Gilmore Girls Season 3 - I LOVE this show!
*Chocolat
*Finding Neverland

READING:
I just finished "We Are All the Same" - a book about a boy with AIDS in South Africa. An enjoyable read. Other recent reads include: "Botswana Time" and "The Alchemist".
Working on "Hope in Hell: Inside the World of Doctors Without Borders". And planning on starting "Velvet Elvis" soon.

STUDYING:
Midterms are over, so I've just been working on labs, which mostly wrap up this week. And I have a paper due on the last day of class. Studying for finals will start (ideally) very soon.

DRINKING:
Lots of water, and tea. New favourites for tea: Vanilla Rocker Rooibos. So good.

DREAMING:
About my summer plans. Things are finally all in place, so look for a blog soon with all the details.

EXCITED ABOUT:
Being done second year Optometry. Going home in a few weeks. Being a part of Tamara and Matthew's wedding. Heading off on my own adventure this summer.

THANKFUL FOR:
Long chats with old friends. Sunshine. Being able to wear sandals, shorts and tank tops soon. Pictures and memories. Birthdays. Family. Friends.
