The flights are booked. The housing is arranged. And now, I just have to wait about 3 months until I am able to go. Yes, after much planning and scheming by myself, Alicia, Jonathan and Brittany, we have managed to convince my parents that we should do our family Christmas in York. Actually, it didn't take much convincing - they thought it was a good idea from pretty much the start. With Jonathan and Brittany over there for the semester (and us all wanting to see York), it makes sense for us to join them there for Christmas. Grandma Joyce will also be joining us.
It's exciting to be going somewhere else for Christmas - especially somewhere in Europe! Who wouldn't want to be walking down cobblestone streets, exploring old churches and buildings, and shopping in cute little boutiques over the holidays? But, the sentimental part of me is sad that I won't be home. I LOVE Christmas, and all the fun stuff leading up to it - and it's weird to think that I won't be at home at all during my holidays to enjoy it. Especially this year, when I'll have a shorter exam schedule in December, and would be able to be at home to enjoy more days leading up to Christmas (rather than just arriving a day or two before). But, England will more than make up for not being at home - especially since I'll be there with all my favourite people!

I'm coming too!! Penny dropped in the other night with several suggestions of things to see and do. She is pumped that we are going. It will be a great time.
