oh man. i've neglected the blog for a long time again. i definitely go through times where i feel like writing, and other times when i don't feel like writing at all. and the latter probably occurs more frequently.

there's nothing really extraordinary to share. each day is pretty much the same. filled with classes, lectures, clinic. but those days have stretched into weeks, which have stretched into months. leaving me now in mid-november, with just over two weeks of classes left. how does time go by so quickly?

i have been blessed with some good times lately. a couple weekends ago, tamara flew out to visit me for a couple days. our time was short, but so sweet. we ate indian food (a MUST for when we are together)and cinni-minis, shopped, laughed and chatted. it is so good for the heart to be with a friend who just knows you.

a highlight of the weekend for both of us was taking in a steve bell concert in burlington. he played with the hamilton philharmonic orchestra, and it was fantastic. i've seen steve play probably about 20 times - and even though i've heard all his stories and songs numerous times, i never tire of hearing him. and this concert, well, it was on an entirely different level, with him playing backed up by the symphony. such a rich sound on songs that i have come to love over the years.

the time was short, but i was glad that tamara could make it out to see my 'ontario' world. it is still so weird to me that i have these two completely different lives - one in regina, and one in ontario. and they don't really overlap, since they are so far apart. but as my family and close friends see my life out here, it makes them come a little bit closer together.
