This won't be long. I'm too lazy to write much of an update right now ... but I just wanted to let everyone know that I am doing well. Mostly just continuing to keep busy with work. I think I'm down to only about 6 more days of work, which is really hard to believe! I've had some varied experiences this week - time with an ophthalmologist, on a campaign today, and tomorrow I get to be in the surgery room. Should be interesting for sure!

Yesterday was my 24th birthday, and it was a fairly low-key, normal day. No big celebrations or anything - just a few birthday wishes, and some cake. Several of the techs had been talking, saying that they were going to do 'La Malteada' to me (which literally means 'milkshake' - I kind of understood it as like the birthday bumps, but where they actually throw you in the air), but in the end, it was only talk. That's probably a good thing, as I didn't really want to come home with any broken bones! All in all, it was a good birthday - and I can now add one more country to the list of places where I have celebrated my birthday!

Next week I get Tuesday and Wednesday off, as they are holidays here. Then I'll work Thursday and Friday, before leaving for home on Saturday evening. I honestly can't believe that 7 weeks here is nearly over. It has gone by so fast, and I am wishing that I could stay here for longer.

That's it for now. This may be the last time I write from here. I'll be home before I know it, and not long after I'm home, I'll be on the road back to Waterloo for my last semester there.
