27/31 - Alicia's Birthday!

Today is the final day of the March birthday season! It's been a fun one ... I'm glad I've been able to celebrate with my family this year!

So, Alicia turns 22 today. I can't believe that my 'little' sister is 22 - it must mean that I'm getting older too! She's always been one of my favourites, from when she was just a chubby little baby up to now! I LOVED her when she was a baby - she just made the 3-year old Jill giggle and giggle and giggle! She was obviously hilarious in my mind! Seriously though, she was a great little baby, and although I was probably a little bossy/annoying sometimes, I loved having a little sister around!

We have some great memories through all the years, far too numerous to even begin to name. One of the ones we've been reminiscing about lately (and had a really good laugh about!) has to do with a 'mouse bed'. I won't say anymore, but you should ask her! :) She was such a sweet little sister, and I would always find little notes and cards from her - for birthdays and special days, but also just to let me know that she loved me!

And now today, we're closer than ever! We love being together, and laughing, and taking pictures, and reminisicing. We have lots of sweet jokes. And I'm so, so proud of her! She is so pumped about what she is doing with her life, and is living with great purpose in everything that she does - from being an awesome leader and friend to the kids at youth, to working hard at school, to being a good daughter, sister, and friend. I'm so excited for the journey that she is on right now, and for where life is going to take her! I am so glad to be able to walk beside her for parts of it. Even though she is younger than me, I look up to her in many ways, and she is a great encourager for me. Regardless of where I end up in a couple months time, I am glad that I will always have her as my sister, and that we can always come together, take some sweet pictures, have a good laugh, and share some good times together!
