30/31 - Giddiness

I'm so giddy right now ... I feel like a kid anticipating summer holidays. To have the end so near, to be able to finally taste it, is so amazing! It didn't really set in until last night when I realized that I was heading into my final week. I know that I still have a couple months of studying ahead of me, and that I have a very important exam to pass, and that I have yet to find a job ... but it doesn't matter! I just feel very light, and free from any burden right now!

I can't believe it's almost April! March went by so fast!

Tonight, I went to DQ with Bonnie, Charlie and Camryn, and I had my first blizzard of the year. Strawberry cheesequake. So yummy! Blizzards always make me think of spring, and especially of Stanley Cup playoff time.

I'm really enjoying the books that I'm reading right now ... one of them being 'A Thousand Splendid Suns', by the same author as 'The Kite Runner'. If you still haven't read 'The Kite Runner', you really should. Incredible story. I'm pretty sure that I'll also recommend this one when I'm all done.

I got to talk Estonia with some lovely ladies over the weekend, and I am so excited to go back there this summer. It still doesn't really seem real that I'll be back there in a couple months - but I'm so excited to see familiar faces, and go to all my favourite places. Sigh. Walking through Old Town or on the beach with friends will be PERFECT.

I love hearing the excitement - and the contentment in your voice. 6 more days to be a student - for now, anyhow!
love, mom xoxo
