Much has happened over the past week, so I thought before I go on to the most recent happenings (graduation last week, and tonight, COLDPLAY), I would give a brief recap of my days spent in Quebec City with Alicia.
We had so much fun there, and I absolutely loved the city! I would definitely recommend going there, if you've never been! Lots of history and interesting things to see, good food to eat everywhere ... and best of all, it feels just like Europe! I could have wandered around there for even more days, but 3+ days provided a good opportunity to see lots, and to not feel too rushed doing everything. Thankfully, we had beautiful weather - and we really just enjoyed being outside, wandering around the streets!
Here's a few pictures:

We take this picture wherever we go ... :)

My favourite little square ... such a European feel to it!

Walking around the Plains of Abraham

Boardwalk running from the Plains of Abraham back to the old part of the city. We spent a good part of one day, sitting on one of the benches in the right of the photo, reading. It was so nice to sit there with the sun shining on our shoulders, a light breeze coming off the St. Lawrence, and just be able to read for fun!

Eating some maple taffy!

On the Ile D'Orleans. On our last day, we drove to this island, and spent the day driving around. We stopped in a few places, but mostly we just drove and enjoyed the beautiful weather. This picture and the next two were taken on a pier, where we stopped to read for a little while, and to take jumping pictures! :)

Trying to get the timing on our jumps right ...

After many tries, we finally got it right!

After leaving Ile D'Orleans, we went to Montmorency Falls, which are very close by. We hiked up some killer stairs to get to the top, and were able to go onto the bridge over the falls.
