Camp Balchyoca 2009

I've had a weekend to recover from a busy week at camp (although I didn't get much sleep this weekend either!). The whole week was full of so many great memories, good times with old friends, and many, many new friends! It was complete chaos at times with around 180 people total there, but mostly, it was just so fun! The weather was absolutely perfect, with beautiful sunny days every day, and just a little bit of rain on Friday. It was awesome weather to go to the beach, and play volleyball or soccer, or swim in the sea.

I was in a cabin as a counsellor with 4 girls - and had fun with them, even though they just wanted to sit around and play Duroc in the cabin most of the time. It didn't matter though, as I had fun with everyone else also, and met some really awesome people.

I'm so glad I had the opportunity to go to camp this year, and am already thinking about the possibility of trying to get back again in the future. The people here (and everywhere else I've been) have a way of getting into your heart, making it hard to ever say goodbye and easy to want to come back.
