But I do miss my sister. So many times I've wanted to text her about something ... and then I realize I can't. I'm excited for her to be back on the same continent as me again - and hopefully the next time she goes on an adventure, I'm with her.
I got out for a run this morning, and it felt good to pound the pavement for 40 minutes or so. I really should try and do that more, because it always feels good after the fact (not always so much during), and I feel more energetic throughout the whole day. I'm also thankful to have a day off today ... as nice as it is to make money, I also appreciate the days where I have nothing to do, and can enjoy some quiet.
And a few things I'm looking forward to:
- Passion World Tour on November 5th in Vancouver, with David Crowder Band and Chris Tomlin. Followed by a weekend exploring the city with Erin. I'm excited to hit up some of my favourite places - Granville Island, MEC, Stanley Park. I hope the weather cooperates too!
- Visit from my mom & dad around Remembrance Day. It's hard to believe that it was this weekend last year that I was just getting moved into my place. I'm excited to have them around for a couple days again!
- CHRISTMAS - already starting to get so excited for going home for Christmas! My flights are booked, and I can't wait!!
- A lovely little package from Estonia, complete with a tea bag and Estonian chocolate bar. PURE BLISS.
- Another package with four CDs full of Estonia pictures. So glad to be able to take another little trip down memory lane.
- Package from home. Enough said.
And here's a glimpse of fall in Merritt. I love the sun, and the golden hills.

I miss that sister of yours, too. I had a lovely surprise phone call from her this morning. It is always good to hear her voice!
Your blog thoughts made me think of Alicia K's recent blog on the Impact of the Mundane. Life is mundane sometimes - in fact often, but still so meaningful. Your moments in Merritt are counting!
Glad to hear of your joy in the mail system recently. I am sure the package from Estonia brought you a smile and much happiness.
Less than two weeks and we will be with you. Can't wait!
