cutest face ever

I think that this might just be one of my favourite little faces in the entire world. Her name is Eliza, and she is in pre-school at Simakakata, one of the schools where we worked this summer. We only spent a week with her there - but she managed to win all of our hearts. Just ask anyone in my family, or Tamara and Matthew, and I guarantee our faces will light up immediately. I still miss her sweet smile, or her tiny little hand holding mine, or her PERFECTLY repeating any English word that we say. Her picture hangs beside my desk, so that I can see her sweet smile every day, reminding me of good times this summer, but even more importantly, about the simple joys of life.

Eliza is just one of several hundred kids that I had the privilege to meet this summer - and they are all just as wonderful as her. My heart misses them.

I simply can't get enough of that cute face and all the memories that it brings back. Won't it be fun to reconnect with Eliza some day when we return?

OH!
What a face. SERIOUSLY!
THIS FONT DOESN'T go BIG enough or BOLD enough to express
the "WOW!!" That is Eliza's sweeet spirit is.

My heart misses all of them too.
