Back in May, my family played host to three sweet boys in the African Children's Choir #30. They quickly worked their way into our hearts, and we loved having them around our house for 3 days. We were sad to see them go! :( The kids are all back in Africa now... but through Music for Life, they are sponsored all the way through school. My family thought it would be neat if we could sponsor one of the boys that had stayed with us - sponsorship is so much more personable when you know the child that you sponsor! Lucky for us, Daniel needed another sponsor, and so we were able to step in and fill that role!
It is a blessing to have this sweet boy as our newest family member! I'm so glad that we can assist him with his schooling, so that he can grow up to be a leader within his own country! I look forward to keeping in touch with him, and hopefully, seeing him face to face again! I'd love to go visit him in Uganda! Maybe he can teach me some of his sweet dance moves then, or help me learn to drum like him!
