I had a weird start to the day, including a stalled car (not mine!) in the turning lane a block up from where I was needing to turn (which I didn't realize until I was right behind it, and then had to get out and around in the midst of all the rest of traffic), a full parkade (which included me pulling up to the machine to get a ticket, only to realize that it wasn't going to give me a ticket ... thankfully the guy opened up the gate for me so that I could get back out, and not hold up the line), and finally finding a parking lot that I could park in, only to find that the only open spots were in the middle of a HUGE puddle! At the point, I had no choice, and waded my way through (thankfully my shoes are quite waterproof!). After all that hassle, I finally made it in to work!
I didn't wear green today, and I think that one of the kids that I saw in clinic today was greatly disappointed in me for this reason.
I like visiting family! It's nice to have a familiar house and bed and faces to come home to every night.
When I was driving home from Winnipeg tonight, I kept on noticing the stars out my window. They looked pretty awesome! Had I not been so tired (and it still being a little bit cold outside), I would have been tempted to pull over and look at them for a while. I'll have to take the time to do that when it gets a little nicer out.
Coldplay tickets came in the mail today! YES!
I'm looking forward to a quieter day at the office tomorrow. And I'm really looking forward to it only taking 2 minutes to drive to work, instead of 30. I guess you could say I've been spoiled in that way living here in Brandon! :)
